In this video you can see that some plug seedlings are damaged during extraction, which causes the root plug to fall apart. As we say, it is “poorly plugged”. This can be due to simply not enough root growth, or the roots grew too aggressively into an older Styrofoam growing tray [a styroblock] and therefore tore apart a bit during extraction. This homemade cigar roller is called a “buncharo”, and is uniquely good at repairing a plug seedling such that it has a second chance after it enjoys another season of growth
