We’ve been developing a custom “plug transplant” growing system for quite a few years now, and in the learning process we’ve made [and continue to make] a lot of mistakes. We end up with evergreens sporting great root systems but top growth which is small or damaged [aborted top buds, split tops, under-fertilization, foliar damage from over-fertilizing, etc]. These are called “conservation grade” trees, and specifically in this case conservation grade plug transplants. Since we try to ship up to a standard, not down to a price, we occasionally end up with a large number of these healthy but ugly duckling trees… a.k.a. “park grade” trees.
AVAILABLE SPECIES: Balsam Fir, Fraser Fir, Norway Spruce
[to request one of these three species or a combination, please send a follow up email after ordering, or reply to your automated receipt after checkout]

Soil conservation districts around the country buy conservation grade transplants to replant wild areas and return deforested areas back to their original splendor. But because they generally plant in remote areas, soil conservation districts are only concerned with healthy and cheap, they are not concerned with pretty. Conservation grade transplants become pretty within a few years of their own accord, with the end result being healthy, mature evergreens at low cost to county and state budgets. You too can take advantage of the cost savings of the “conservation grade” approach for your own planting project.
PLANT THESE PLUG TRANSPLANTS IN RECORD TIME:
Watch how to plant evergreen plug transplants fast and with less effort than any “bare root” evergreen transplant of a similar size. With just a cordless drill and our plug transplant bulb auger, you can realistically plant 50 to 100 trees per hour without breaking your back. You can buy this auger on the cheap with tree purchase, but with any order of 50 plug transplants or more [pls read that again, this offer is not for plug seedlings] we’ll include the auger for FREE!
These specific plug transplants are available and shipping now. If you’d like to delay shipment, please specify that date in a follow up email after placing your order. However, shipping season for these specific evergreen trees pauses in mid-December 2018 and resumes in mid-January 2019, and continues through the end of May 2019 or till sold out.
Plug transplants are shipped in bundles, but we offer individual plastic packaging, eco-friendly packaging, cotton gift bag packaging and custom laser cut pendants for all sizes of plug seedlings and plug transplants, sold separately in matching quantities.
