Washington State Quarantines

We cannot ship some types of evergreen trees to WA due to state quarantines on the following:

• Soil import restrictions, which means we cannot ship plug seedlings or jumbo plug seedlings to WA

Any non-native insect, disease, fungus, etc. which could catch a ride in a plane or truck over the Rocky Mountains [a natural barrier for these nasty things] could damage Washington state's agriculture industry. So even though our plug seedlings and jumbo plug seedlings are thoroughly inspected against these things, WA state law will not allow it.

However, we can ship to WA any of our bareroot evergreen seedlings and bareroot evergreen transplants

If you cannot find what you need on our bareroot pages, we suggest that you contact a local nursery, such as the state listings on our wholesale industry site, or in our plants database, or the "Plant Scout" at Dave's Garden:
